The Fifth Acroteam Of The Turkish Air Force

This acroteam, which was established in 1966 initially with the call sign Kartal (Eagle), has been then renamed with Coşkun upon Pilot Lieutenant Coşkun TURAN’s unfortunate martyrdom on May 21, 1971 during a flight mission. The acroteam of the 6th Main Jet Base Command (Bandırma) harbors F-5A (Freedom Fighter) aircrafts. The acroteam Coşkun has performed in air shows in Türkiye and in 1971 in Italy.
