The Second Acroteam Of The Turkish Air Force

The second acroteam established in the 4th Air Base Command (Eskişehir) in 1955 had the call sign Uçan Kuğular (Flying Swans). This acroteam, which equipped F-86 E (Sabre) jets, colored red and white with a swan figure their noses, had continued its activities for 10 years. In 1964 the Uçan Kuğular gained the admiration of Türkiye and worldwide impression through their demonstrations in groups of nine and twelve planes.
